Lesson 175: Auburn Petpalooza

We went to the Auburn Petpalooza. It was raining off and on but nothing native Washingtonians could not handle. Oh and I am 38 weeks now... yeesh.
It was just Tyler, my parents, and me this year. It will be fun next year when we can take Ted too :)

Afterwards we went and got breakfast (breakfast food at 1PM). Tyler got a hot chocolate with enough whipped cream to sink a ship and no spoon.

Lesson 174: First Mother's Day.... Kind of...

37 weeks along on mother's day so I guess that counts as being a mama. Tyler got me beautiful flowers and a necklace.

Tyler installed a fan in our house too, which was just in time for the 80 degree weather!

Lesson 173: Funny things people say to a pregnant woman

1. I noticed you are with child. Do you know what kind of child you are having?

2. I didn't know you are..... (trails off before she says "pregnant" because she is worried she is mistaken. Keep in mind, I am almost full term at this point.)

3. I can't see your belly, did you have the baby yet? (I sit behind a desk at work)

4. So are you pregnant or just fat? (okay that one is just mean)

5. Aww you are so cute with your waddle. (who doesn't love penguins?)

Lesson 172: Contrary to what people say, 9 months FLIES by!

Baby will be here May 28th! (Unless he decides to come sooner, of course) We are all scheduled for a C-section. The last 9 months have gone by so quickly, it is insane.

Here are some pictures of Ruby and Max :)

Lesson 171: Elspeth throws a great baby shower :)

This past weekend was the big baby shower :) My sister Elspeth put it all together and she did a great job! Here are pics of all the adorable decorations she made and pics from the party.

Lesson 170: Dogs on the couch.

We have been getting some nice weather here and the dogs are taking full advantage of it.
Ruby in another of her comfortable looking positions.
Max huddled in a corned after a bit too much sun and  getting overheated.
I thought the dogs were waiting for Tyler to get home, but when I looked out the window, I saw that Tyler was home. He was on his phone in the driveway.
My boss noticed that I have to crouch under my desk each morning to turn my computer on and she felt bad since I have the big belly so the next morning this was on my desk haha. I have not yet used it to turn on the computer but it came in handy when I dropped my keys and had to pick them up.

Lesson 169: Dedicated to Miranda

For Easter the Easter bunny brought a cute little pug toy that oddly enough was Ruby's long lost twin :) This post is dedicated to Miranda because she is the one who delivered Ruby's kin to our home.

On a side note, it was really hard getting these pictures because Ruby was only interested in carrying the little pug away and destroying it.

And here is a picture of me at 35 1/2 weeks :)
There are a lot of things I feel like people don't mention about pregnancy. Everyone knows about morning sickness, but people fail to mention the point at which the baby is so big that there is no room of your stomach for food :( I am not a fan of this because I like to eat!
