There is no question that I love love love Lauren Conrad :) For my birthday I got not one, but TWO copies of her new book Beauty. My only regret is that I did not road trip down to California for her book signing... which my mom was totally up for.
Here are some awesome things I learned from Lauren from my new book:
Eye brow makeup is just glorified eye shadow! I already have a brow pencil (which I have never used... until now) and I grabbed some brown eye shadow.
If you have trouble with pencil eyeliner smudging this is most likely the result of your eye producing oil which is a good thing because you will have younger looking eyes for a longer time.... SWEET! She just took a nuisance and turned it into a blessing :)
The different places you have breakouts on your face are for different reasons. Like by your mouth is a result of hormones while in between your brows is most likely from over indulging in decadent foods... yes a section on blemishes is absolutely disgusting but you gotta face them sometime... in a manner of speaking.

Last night I was thinking about something someone posted on FB a while back that I really loved.
The young recently married person posted on their own wall something like:
Love is thinking your husband's snoring is adorable.
To which someone much older and wiser replied:
That is not love, that is the honeymoon phase. Love is hating your husband's snoring and thinking it is down right terrible and still sleeping in the same bed as him.
